With the introduction of mobile phone wireless presentation system devices, many people have heard about them. Some might even use their own phones to view movies on TV! But these are just primary play-only functions for a mobile screen mirroring device. Most people have never tried to annotate on those wireless display devices.

Actually, mobile phone screen mirroring can be used in the business conference room, and the multimedia classroom to improve the efficiency of presentations or the lecture. In this blog, we will cover the practical functions we can use on the TV after the phone has been mirrored, such as handwriting, annotation, screenshots, one-click saving, one-click sharing, and so on.

  1. Use the HDMI cable to connect the receiver side of the wireless presentation system and TV (Note: After opening the TV, the screen will be the wireless presentation system standby screen. So if there is no screen display, we can use the TV remote control to adjust the TV signal mode to HDMI mode. This is just like we need to press the video key to change the mode when connecting a DVD to the TV).
  2. We have to plug the cable into the receiver side of the wireless presentation system to connect the router. Mobile phones can be connected to the router’s WIFI so that mobile phones and the receiver side of the wireless presentation system will be in the same LAN; if there is no router, mobile phones can directly be connected to the WIFI of the wireless presentation system (so that it will use the Internet traffic of the mobile phone instead of that of the wireless presentation system).
  3. For Android phones we should adjust according to the following set: [Settings] – [More Connections] – [Wireless Presentation] – [Wireless Screen Mirroring Device ID] – -the Android phone screen will be displayed on the TV.
  4. For iPhones, we should open [main interface] first and then click [screen mirroring] – [wireless screen casters ID]. Then the iPhone’s screen will be displayed on the TV.
  5. In the final step, we can use the device to realize handwriting, annotation, screenshot, and one-key sharing on the screen.

Note: This function requires a TV with a touch screen, such as a touch all-in-one machine for conference rooms or classrooms. When a mobile phone is mirrored on a TV that has a touch screen, those functions like handwriting, annotating, and taking screenshots can be directly applied to the TV.  We can also scan the QR code appearing on the screen, and the screenshot or other operations would be saved on our mobile. It’s quite easy to use and set up.

Annotate on the Mobile Interactive Whiteboard

Wireless presentation system is widely used in the smart classroom nowadays. Having a wireless presentation system in the classroom gives students the opportunity to be hands-on and interactive with the material being presented.

Your device screen can be mirrored onto a projector or monitor, effectively turning it into a mobile interactive whiteboard. This allows teachers to move around the classroom freely and interact with students more directly. In addition, teachers can use your device to schedule formative assessments in real time and view response analysis immediately. This helps teachers quickly adapt their instruction to match student progress.
